This pure gum rubber hose is 1 1/2 inch ID with 1/2 inch wall thickness. This rubber hose is recommended in use for short distances only. The wall thickness can handle a vacuum when cut in short lengths and attached to a static pipe on both ends. It will collapse if used on a long section, for example, greater than 1 foot.

This tubing is tear resistant and keeps its memory. It safely conducts acids, chemicals and gases. Resistant to cold and hot temps and very versatile, is flexible and developed especially for mechanical vacuum pumps. Fastens with hose clamps and aluminum NW/KF40 rubber hose adapters. (see far right picture above)

All vacuum hose is sold by the foot. If you purchase a quantity 1 then you will only be shipped a single, 1 foot section of the hose selected. The same rule would apply for larger quantities. I.E., Quantity 8 = one - 8 foot section. If you wish to purchase 16 feet of hose and have it cut into 8 foot sections then you would purchase quantity 8 as two separate line items in your shopping cart.
